Morgan plays for a summer tournament team. The name of the team that she has been with for at least 7 years is "LOUISIANA HEAT". They are playing in a tournament this weekend at "Imperial Field" in Sugar Land, Texas.
The tournament ended Sunday with LOUISIANA HEAT taking the championship back home with them...
LOUISIANA HEAT
We ended the day by eating out at Otto's Bar-B-Q in Sugar Land.

I guess you notice Cory is not in the pool.. He is laid back in a lounge chair reading a book. Anybody surprised?

The girls, MawMaw, Cacie and Larkin saw Shrek The Third.. They say it was really good... Larkin really enjoyed it.. She fell asleep through the whole movie....

CONGRATULATIONS
Renita Michelle Williams
Renita has been working on her degree 8 to 10 years, while holding a full time job and dealing with more illnesses that any one person should have to go through. But GOD has blessed her and carried her through all these obstacles.
Renita's sister and brother-in-law invited us to their home in Fresno to help Renita celebrate. We had bar-b-que chicken, ribs, sausage, etc., then you know me, I went for the desserts---banana pudding, apple cobbler and whipped cream. We had lots to eat and lots of laughs. We had a great visit with her and her family.
Graduation was in the Reliant Stadium. Wayne thought about the binoculars as we were going to our seats. Wayne thought he found Renita sitting amount the 900+/- grads, but he was wrong. We found her when her name was announced as she got her diploma.
You noticed her last name "Williams", she was one of the last to receive her diploma, it was alphabetical.
GOD BLESS YOU GIRL..
MAY YOUR FUTURE BE NOTHING BUT BRIGHT

On Thursday, May 10, Collin graduated from the DARE program at SHS. This is a program taught by a Sheriff Deputy. The kids call her the "DARE Lady".
This program teaches kids the dangers of drugs, alcohol and violence. To complete the DARE program each child has to complete a workbook and write an essay. Three children were chosen to read their essays. One spoke of an addict who told her never to start---this child told of the diseases that follows the addiction. A boy told of all the reasons not to do drugs or alcohol, then he ends the essay with the question......"isn't that a good reason not to do drugs?......
These children are finishing the 5th grade, some lives have already been affected by the use of drugs, alcohol and violence.
