Collin's 1st Deer of the Season

Collin was allowed to go to the hunting club near their home. He had to be there by 6:15 am, to be put in the stand before 7 am sunrise. He was there and ready.

By 7:35 he had shot this doe and had to sit and wait for the other hunters to finish so they could go get his prize.

You can see the pride on his face.

Michelle's comments:

Okay, here it goes. This weekend was the first youth hunt here, and this is Collins first deer of the year, shot with the gun bought by us and his grandparents for Christmas year before last(first kill with the gun), and the first deer he has shot 100% by himself. On top of all that, he got a perfect hit on her. We are very proud, there was a total of 3 deer shot that day at the hunting camp, his is the only one that fell right after she was shot, the 2 other hunters had theirs run, haha!! Just joking, they are friends of ours and just had a day of bad luck I guess.

Wayne's Boy Boudreaux

Wayne used to go to bed and close the door. Boudreaux set down on the outside and whined.

Now when Wayne starts getting dressed for bed, Boudreaux gets his 'sleepy pal' and waits on the bed for him.

Good thing that we have a kingsized bed, as you can see Boudreaux takes 'his half' in the middle, Wayne and I hang on the edges so he will have enough room.

When Wayne gets on the computer, Boudreaux stands on his back legs by his chair until Wayne gives him a treat.

Yes, Boudreaux has trained us well.
