Jason is a strong Alabama fan.
We are still trying to change him to LSU.
This year he was very happy---AL 27, LSU 21.
But next year..........
But when it comes to NFL he cheers for the Saints.
They enjoyed the day and the game.
Even with the Saints losing 27 to Minnesota's 30.

October 2, 2008

Today is Jason’s birthday. At our house on your birthday you get to choose what we have for supper. All Morgan could tell me was ‘mashed potatoes’. She called later, he likes ‘green beans’.
Donna asked about fried chicken from Popeyes. No, he only liked home fried chicken. I have not fried chicken in years.
Morgan cooked his cake, yellow cake with chocolate icing, mint chocolate chip ice cream, since Morgan is the only one who likes ‘mint’, we had plain chocolate chip.
Off to the store I went, cake and ice cream was easy. I finally settled for chopped steak with brown gravy.
Then came the cake and lighting of the candles. Jason was 23, with 1 to grow on. The lighter Morgan used looked like a ‘torch’. Morgan burned her fingers trying to light candles.
